We are looking for a Schedule Executive to join our team in Leeds. The purpose of the role is to create and deliver accurate multi-platform schedules incorporating programme strategies, media plans, break patterns, and sponsorship requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Input and update programme schedules, link correct versions, and collaborate with Editorial teams to maximise commercial value while supporting press, compliance, and reporting needs.
  • Presentation: Build and optimise schedules inline with guidelines, integrate marketing and commercial elements, resolve operational issues, and manage press deadlines and live programming updates.
  • Supporting Transmission: Validate schedules, troubleshoot technical data, and meet daily delivery deadlines for main, contingency, and standby schedules.
  • Post Transmission: Reconcile planned versus transmitted schedules to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate broadcast logs.
  • Other Duties: Assess schedule feasibility, attend cross-departmental meetings, and deliver operational solutions for strategic business requests along with other ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Office-based work experience is essential
  • Accuracy is key in this role, you must be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent levels of attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload whilst remaining calm and approachable is essential
  • Computer literate and keen to use new technology, must have experience using a range of software including email, excel and word as a minimum
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Experience in a post production / broadcast environment is advantageous
  • A genuine interest in content and broadcasting is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to pre-empt and proactively resolve problems
  • Resilience and ability to adapt to changeable situations whilst remaining positive
  • Enthusiasm - we’re looking for someone who is motivated, proactive and a real team player
  • Minimum grade 4/5 in GCSE English and Maths. Additional qualifications in broadcast related discipline preferred
