The Workplace Services / Engineering team within Shared Services is responsible for maintaining ITV's buildings, plant and facilities to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable working environment for colleagues across all sites. The team delivers both planned and reactive maintenance, working closely with specialist contractors and internal stakeholders to keep ITV's operations running smoothly. It's a hands‑on, collaborative environment where safety, reliability and customer service are key.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical systems including AHUs, FCUs and general building plant
- Responding to breakdowns and completing repairs in a timely manner
- Supporting water hygiene testing and plumbing‑related maintenance
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring RAMS and safety procedures are followed
- Operating and monitoring building management systems (BMS)
- Assisting other engineering teams (Electrical and AC) where required
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering excellent service
Qualifications
- Fully qualified mechanical engineer (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- IOSH Health and Safety qualification
