The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
The User Test Analyst will be responsible for the end to end user acceptance testing and operational acceptance testing of bespoke software products developed in-house by the ITV Group Technology Product Management team.
The role includes collaborating with Product Owners, engineering teams and business users to understand requirements and use cases, designing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying, reporting and prioritising defects according to business impact and value, as well as working closely with engineering teams to ensure defects and issues are resolved.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

Analysis of product requirements and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Knowledge of how to execute manual and automated tests, documenting results and providing detailed defect reports.

Collaboration with developers and product owners to understand and reproduce reported issues.

Engagement with business users to understand their needs and expectations for the products and incorporate their feedback into the testing process.

Compiling UAT and OAT scope and plan per release, including testing repository and artefacts e.g. testing documents, defects, feedback and evidence.

Creating UAT test scripts and updating regression test scripts, covering new functionality; creating OAT scenarios and scripts.

Liaison with the engineering team to confirm environments, code and integrations are ready for test cycles, including relevant access for business users during UAT.

Support for the Product Owner during UAT execution by business users (eg. planning, availability, check-ins with business users).

Participation in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily team meetings, and retrospectives.

Contribution to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, including appropriate and targeted use of testing automation.

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.

Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Resilience and ability to maintain a balanced perspective when managing user feedback.

Experience in testing bespoke software products is a plus.
