• Good administrative and record-keeping skills, with an understanding of the inventory process of goods in and out within a prop store
• This role will involve carrying, manoeuvring and organising heavy props and furniture on a daily basis. You must have the knowledge and experience of how to lift and carry safely.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to set design and prop storage environments.
• The ability to work both independently unsupervised and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and progress within the Props Department, and a passion for the job and all that it entails with positivity and enthusiasm
• Full Clean driving licence (or equivalent arrangements as part of a reasonable adjustment where a disability has been disclosed), Strong practical abilities and competent in basic DIY & use of tools
• Possess strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with Prop Buyers, the Design team, and wider production staff.
• Resourceful problem-solving skills with the initiative to handle challenges creatively and independently
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• A good working knowledge of Coronation Street and its sets and characters
• Willingness and ability to step into other roles within the Props team if required Manchester Trafford Wharf Road - expectation is 5 days on-site. Not suitable for part-time or job share, Flexible working with a range of options
