12 Month Fixed‑Term Contract. As a Product Analyst, you'll help shape, define, and support the delivery of data‑focused initiatives and capabilities across ITV’s Commercial Technology landscape. You’ll work through the full product lifecycle, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable requirements and solutions, and collaborate across Product, Data Engineering, QA and business teams to ensure successful delivery and operational adoption of data products.

Responsibilities

  • Scope and shape key data‑focused initiatives, creating high‑level briefs covering data products, tools, capabilities and supporting business operations.
  • Apply creativity, logic and judgement to develop solutions and approaches that best meet business outcomes.
  • Define clear product and capability requirements in partnership with Data Engineering, QA, business teams and suppliers.
  • Review and validate technical data design deliverables and implementation approaches.
  • Define fit‑for‑purpose criteria, including non‑functional requirements, data quality standards and acceptance criteria with QA teams.
  • Ensure legal, cybersecurity and data governance requirements are considered throughout delivery.
  • Support Agile delivery processes, driving understanding and alignment across cross‑functional teams.
  • Support data quality acceptance activities and participate in defect triage, clarification and resolution processes.
  • Provide guidance, training and expertise to support the transition of data products into smooth operational use across business teams.
  • Respond to support queries relating to data products and capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for future product iterations and enhancements through feedback, product usage insights and business value analysis.

Qualifications

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and simple manner, especially around data‑focused concepts.
  • Data querying skills required (SQL or equivalent); coding knowledge (e.g., Python) a nice to have.
  • Keen problem solver demonstrating logic and curiosity.
  • Some experience of understanding/working with data requirements.
  • Experience of working in cross‑functional teams, ideally delivering scalable, robust data products.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders.
  • Experience within the digital advertising / media ecosystem, preferably with TV/Streaming experience and agile environments.
  • Knowledge of the UK broadcast industry & broadcast/OTT advertising market.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms.
