We are seeking a Senior Producer to join our team for an 8 month paternity cover. In this role, you will support ITV Creative and Be Studio by leading the creation and delivery of commercial partnerships and sponsorships with external clients across all ITV platforms. Working in a very fast‑paced and agile pitch environment, the ideal candidate will be adept at budgeting and scoping. They will also possess the expertise to produce integrated campaigns across a range of media including TV, print, commercial and digital. Given the fast‑paced environment, you should excel under pressure, responding calmly and professionally at all times, backed by a genuine passion for and deep knowledge of media production. Additionally, you will provide practical and developmental guidance to production staff within an increasingly complex business landscape, while developing and implementing improvements to existing production processes. Financial acumen is essential, as you will be responsible for the accurate budgeting of resources and production costs, ensuring all campaign elements are delivered seamlessly on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Produce integrated campaigns across all media, including managing talent, attending briefings, creating production timelines, coordinating with Campaign Management, booking and managing facilities, engaging crews, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with Campaign Manager and Creative Director to accurately scope and budget upcoming projects in a very timely manner, reacting to change with agility.
- Support Campaign Management by maintaining effective workflows and clear communication across projects.
- Establish and maintain efficient production processes, contributing to the implementation and adoption of new systems and ways of working.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with production companies, post‑production facilities, crews and external production partners.
- Manage production finances, including campaign budgets, reconciliations, contracts, purchase orders, invoicing and cost control.
- Oversee the production team’s day‑to‑day operational responsibilities, including contracts, NDAs, AdGreen requirements and other administrative processes.
- Ensure all productions operate sustainably and in line with environmental guidelines, including reviewing external supplier policies.
- Maintain compliance with Ofcom regulations, editorial policies, production guidelines and health and safety requirements.
- Line manage Producers and Team Producers, supporting their development and addressing performance issues in partnership with the Head of Campaign Production.
- Foster a collaborative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Champion the production function and promote its value across ITV Creative and the wider organisation.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues, ensuring projects remain on track.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of production staff and freelancers working on‑site or on location.
- Handle sensitive company and personnel matters with professionalism and strict confidentiality.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience producing large‑scale shoot campaigns is essential.
- Previous experience working in a UK broadcaster, production company or ad agency at Producer level.
- A high level of understanding of broadcast and short‑form production, including TV, digital and print advertising.
- A good understanding of APA guidelines, rate cards and crew.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with demanding clients, external production contacts and talent.
