Reporting to the Head of Conversion Marketing, the Conversion Marketing Manager will be focused on driving growth of ITVX through maximising the effectiveness of our digital marketing activity to help deliver our business targets of Monthly Active Users and ITVX Premium subscribers. The Marketing Manager will be an innovative, results‑oriented digital marketer responsible for converting and retaining viewers on ITVX. You will use data‑driven insights to develop a clear understanding of the success of our activity and use these insights to inform future plans. You will champion testing, optimisations and best practice through our digital marketing channels by partnering with our Media and Creative teams. To be successful, you will need to work cross‑functionally to ensure our campaigns are fully integrated. This role is an integral part of the future of ITV and will be instrumental in making our content unmissable for viewers.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Conversion Marketing strategy through an integrated plan that delivers on our marketing outcomes.
  • Responsible for the creation and delivery of effective and efficient targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging the right channel mix within paid and owned media.
  • Use insight to inform our targeting strategy with a focus on reactivating and retaining our viewers by driving up their frequency.
  • Work closely with media and agency counterparts to manage budgets, modelling and forecasting to deliver our targets.
  • Use learnings and insights to report weekly and monthly on Marketing performance and deliver in a clear and concise way to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Media Capability team to ensure we are leveraging our data to more effectively reach our audiences.
  • Work together with the Head of Conversion and ITVC to create, manage and deliver personalised and relevant targeted communications at scale.
  • Develop and continue to build on ways of working with the Brand and Campaigns team to ensure our Brand DNA is clear in comms through the funnel and Conversion campaigns work together to complement Single Show moments.
  • Deliver best‑in‑class quarterly briefs that drive innovation, effectiveness and champion testing to make the best use of our budget.
  • Work with Media and Creative strategy teams to ensure we constantly optimise and deliver insight‑led briefs that optimise our performance.
  • Work with the Product team to understand, optimise and improve Marketing journeys from off to on‑product across all devices.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of how marketing can drive business performance.

Qualifications and Key Criteria

  • Experience of media channel usage to drive performance demonstrating an understanding of the viewer journey.
  • Understanding of all types of media, with experience in digital and data marketing techniques to drive growth in MAUs, streaming hours and subscriptions.
  • Understanding of using 1st and 3rd party data to improve media targeting and performance.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to make data simple and accessible to all.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver what is needed.
  • Passionate about accountability and effectiveness, with an understanding of using econometric and attribution models to improve media performance.
  • Effective team player with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A passion for TV and Streaming with a good understanding of the modern TV landscape and how viewers discover content.
