The role of itsu's Transactional Finance Manager will be to support the Financial Controller (FC) in day-to-day and ad-hoc matters with regards to all activities within the transactional finance team, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) function, to ensure accuracy of monthly and yearly accounts. This role reports to itsu's Financial Controller, managing a team of three.
Skill and responsibility overview:- Transactional Finance Expertise: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including overseeing invoices, expenses, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a team, ensuring accurate financial records, clean audit trails, and effective transactional processes.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the capability to prepare and review monthly financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts.
- Process Improvement and ERP Management: Proven track record in enhancing efficiency through process improvements, including the implementation and management of ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at handling transactional queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders, and collaborating effectively across departments to support financial goals.
This is you: Must have transactional finance experience. Confident in dealing with large datasets and multiple cost centres. High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach. Self-motivated, great communicator and curious mindset. Highly organised and structured. Strong analytical skills. Able to create and follow set processes. Strong drive for understanding and continuous improvement. Willingness to work flexibly to meet the business needs. Accounting qualifications preferred. Multi-site experience in retail, hospitality or similar field strongly preferred. Audit background or experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or BC preferred. Intermediate or advanced excel skills are preferred.
