Ideal Candidate
- An experienced Financial Controller or senior finance professional, ideally from a product-led or FMCG business
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Scope of the role
- Delivery of monthly Group accounts (itsu (grocery) and subsidiary accounts), including balance sheet and cash flow
- Ownership of the year-end process, including the external audit, all tax-related matters, and production of the statutory accounts (for itsu (grocery) and subsidiary)
- Management, mentoring, and growing of the AR, AP and management accounts teams
- Management of month-end reporting to Board and Executive Team, overseeing the management accounts team, including detail shop and cost reporting, monthly reviews with budget holders and budget / forecast setting
- Develop and improve systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability within a growing business
- Managing the relationship with key external stakeholders: investors, banks, insurers, and other key providers
- Being responsible for all Taxation and VAT matters
