itsu [grocery], which this role falls under, takes the itsu brand into supermarkets, health food stores, online, wholesale and internationally with products such as crispy seaweed thins, frozen gyoza & bao, brilliant broth, rice noodles & miso easy to name a few.
The role:
- Support Brand Managers with internal sell-ins & rollout of marketing/NPD slides.
- Attend and present at buyer meetings for Ocado, Convenience & Whol/High St/Trav channels.
- Manage all trade marketing activity with NAMs and BMs for Ocado, Convenience & Whol/High St/Trav.
- Support in defining appropriate levels of trade marketing spend and budget for channels within brand planning/budgeting process, signed off by Marketing Controller.
- Conduct full reviews and make ongoing recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
- Oversee field sales activity [marketing-led] working with sales & business development team to implement & forecast spend.
- Stay on top of industry news with a particular focus on marketing/trade marketing/consumer behaviour.
- Manage loyalty initiatives for the team, identifying areas for investment & reporting back on new opportunities.
- Manage Ocado, Whol/High St/Trav [incl. new business] spend with monthly reviews and reporting.
