About the role: As a Management Accountant you will be a detail-oriented and commercially minded playing a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strategic support to drive business performance. The preparation of Management Accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet, and other reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, including cost centre analysis and reporting COGS, Waste, Inlogs & Outlogs (including Temp P&L) - P&L & BS analysis. Liaising with department managers to provide financial support and interpret financial data for non-financial personnel.
- Input into budget and forecast processes
- Identifying and assessing business risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining financial controls
- Cross train on all other areas of management accounts to ensure full holiday and sickness cover across the team
- Help the Transactional Finance team as and when the business requires
The ideal candidate will have:
- An experienced, qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA, finance professional, ideally from a product-led or FMCG business
- Technically strong, process-driven, and passionate about systems, automation, and efficiency
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to build structure and controls under pressure
- Detail-oriented and collaborative, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Confident communicator who can influence across all levels of the business
- Advanced excel skills are essential
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames
- Sage 200 experience preferable
