Scope of the role: itsu [grocery] is looking for a supply planner to join its supply chain team. They will manage the movement of frozen products from suppliers across Asia and Europe; and be the key liaison with our growing international business. They will work closely with the senior supply planner for frozen to maximise service levels while controlling inventory levels and waste. They should be analytical, detailed and have a passion for efficiency.
- Manage the inbound supply chain of 4 suppliers in our biggest temperature category.
- Maintain target stock levels at our UK & European warehouses; working within capacity constraints, to maximise our service to customers & minimise waste.
- Key liaison with our international business, driving risks & ops scenario planning and assisting on international projects.
- Collaborate internally with demand planning, procurement, logistics & customer service.
- Build strong relationships with our suppliers to mitigate issues and smooth changeover between products & artwork.
- Lead in the stock reconciliation of our international business, as well as their products within the UK, to ensure all stock is accounted for.
- Drive supplier performance – managing costs & negotiating where relevant.
