itsu (grocery) are hiring: Wholesale & New Business Controller

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills to develop and manage key buying relationships
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to work closely with others
  • Self-starter within a small team
  • Energy to work in a rapidly growing, evolving business
  • Passion for food
  • Over 2 years of FMCG experience (category management, finance, sales, trade marketing)
  • In-depth understanding of the UK grocery market
  • Proactive and creative problem solver
  • Strong leadership skills

Scope of the role:

  • Build strong relationships with senior buying contacts across multiple retailers
  • Develop and execute strategies to succeed in channels outside of grocery (e.g., convenience, high street, wholesale)
  • Secure new business for itsu (grocery) across categories
  • Manage a team of 2 across multiple channels, supporting growth
  • Create and implement account plans to support business growth
  • Collaborate with marketing, NPD, category, and supply chain teams to meet revenue targets
  • Analyze sales data, consumer trends, and food trends to identify opportunities
