Scope of Role
itsu [grocery] is looking for a procurement exec to join its procurement team. They will assist in various areas across our wide-reaching team, giving them a great foundation for a future career in procurement. They will be a core resource for the procurement team to assist on varying tasks that will flex depending on the needs of the team and the business. One area they will work on is our ESG and Sustainability requirements, supporting the Senior Packaging Technologist and Senior Sustainability Advisor. They should be detailed and analytical to support on managing various procurement systems and master data.
- Be a core support for the procurement team
- Work on procurement projects and cost saving initiatives, including collaborating with our wider operations team on product development and sample requests
- Assist with collating key business submissions for packaging taxes and product ingredient traceability
- Support the ESG agenda, working on key initiatives to assist with our decarbonisation strategy and packaging reductions
- Maintain our various procurement and packaging data systems
- Assist with new supplier onboarding and their set up requirements
- Help drive supplier performance by assisting with key supplier review meetings and organisation
