The IT Support Apprentice will work and study for an apprenticeship ICT Level 3 (13 months). You will provide technical support and maintain IT systems, network and infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure and efficient digital services across itsu, in stores, academy and grocery teams. At the end of your 13 months apprenticeship you will graduate to an IT Support Analyst role.
Skill and Responsibility Overview
- Helpdesk support: monitor and be the first point of contact for our ticketing system and keep users updated through resolution of incident/request.
- Equipment and Microsoft management: set up, maintain and troubleshoot desktop, laptop and mobile devices ensuring that they are managed using Microsoft Intune and comply with our user and security policies.
- Store systems & hardware support: support our Card Processing Solution, install hardware devices across our store estate.
- IT project support: support the delivery of critical IT projects across our estate, from network connectivity to business-critical Power Apps.
- Training & knowledge ICT Level 3: gain fundamental knowledge to complete and obtain ICT Level 3 apprenticeship. Use classroom and on-the-job learnings to obtain the qualification.
Core Responsibilities
- Be a first point of call for all 1st Line Support within itsu stores, Head Office, Grocery and remote workers.
- Support with any training of store and Head Office employees with new systems and processes.
- Work with and support the Tech Team in delivering accurate and well supported systems and change management.
- Administer and Manage User Accounts across systems as part of the joiner, mover and leaver policy.

Those requirements are necessary to qualify as an apprentice under the current Apprenticeship Scheme:
- Be in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Have a valid right to work in the UK (no time limit during the duration of after the graduation of the apprenticeship).
- Not being a student or enrolled in part/full time education.
- Not hold qualification of Level 3 or higher.
- Be able to work and study full-time (40 hours/week).
Those requirements are desirable to be successful in itsu:
- Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Microsoft and Mac), supporting Windows/Mac hardware.
- Basic knowledge of supporting mobile devices (phones and tablets).
