The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a finance role, ideally from a product-led or FMCG business. They should be detail-oriented and collaborative, with intermediate or advanced Excel skills preferred. The candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and be a confident communicator who can influence across all levels of the business. They should possess the ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames, with Sage experience being preferable.
Scope of the role includes:
- Assisting with all aspects of the purchase ledger, including ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed on time, chasing outstanding invoices and credit notes, and resolving supplier issues.
- Assisting with all aspects of the sales ledger, ensuring customers are billed in a timely manner and issues are resolved quickly.
- Managing credit cards by setting up new accounts with HSBC and in Sage (with TFM’s approval).
- Processing monthly expenses and reconciling credit card transactions.
- Providing ad hoc support to the wider team.
