Support the Technical team on the safety, quality, legality and authenticity of itsu products and international supplier performance.
Responsible for driving the awareness of a food safety culture and ensuring it is always considered during decision making.
Responsible for maintaining certain procedures in the food safety & quality management system and ensure AA Grade certification against the BRC A&B standard is maintained.
- Support the Technical team on the safety, quality, legality and authenticity of itsu products.
- Responsible for driving the awareness of a food safety culture and ensuring it is always considered.

- Support the international business in European and ROW markets.
- Responsible for managing international distributor requirements ensuring that local legislation is complied with.
- Work closely with the international team to facilitate the export of itsu products to international customers.
- Responsible for approving and onboarding international warehouses and logistic suppliers with all associated documentation and SAQs completed.
- Maintains the supplier management system for existing suppliers ensuring certificates and questionnaires are up to date.
- Supports on key projects with international product suppliers.
- Reviews and approves new and existing artworks, translations and pack copies for new and existing products sold internationally.
- Stay abreast of industry issues and developments in legislation and communicates key changes to the business for the UK, International markets, import and export legislation.
At least 5 years’ experience working in a packaging safety and technical role with manufacturing and retail/brand experience.
Qualified to degree level in food science or science degree.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be able to work in a small team and individually.
Have a passion for food & Asian inspired food in particular.
