We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join a growing digital and data function based in central Leeds. This exciting opportunity will suit a talented data professional with strong experience across Microsoft Fabric, Azure and modern data platform technologies. You will be joining an established data function of 18 professionals supporting a £650 million revenue organisation with over 2,500 employees.

This role combines hands-on engineering, data architecture, team leadership and strategic decision making, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation's central data platform. You will provide technical leadership across a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers, working on a range of business-critical projects using the latest Microsoft technologies. The organisation actively encourages innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing, and you'll have the opportunity to drive projects from concept through to delivery with the support of senior leadership.

The organisation is committed to aiding with personal and professional development, including fully subsidised Microsoft certifications (DP-600/700 etc).
