Full Stack Developer - Front End focused - Construction supplies company based in Hull
Β£45,000 - Β£55,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Majority remote working
Well established organisation who have a focus on investing in their digital teams are looking for a front end focused full stack developer.
Key skills required - Vue.js, Nuxt.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Laravel, MySQL and RESTful APIs.
They are an AI-forward engineering team, and this is central to how they work rather than an afterthought. AI-assisted development is part of their day-to-day delivery, and they're actively evolving their workflows, tooling and standards around it.
The role:
- Build, enhance and maintain customer-facing features in our Vue.js / Nuxt.js headless storefront.
- Create performant, accessible and responsive frontend experiences, with Core Web Vitals, usability and maintainability front of mind.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend features with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, component design, reusable patterns and engineering standards across the storefront.
- Collaborate on API contracts and data flows, using your understanding of backend systems to build reliable frontend solutions.
- Ensure applications meet our security and data protection standards.
- Collaborate using Git, Bitbucket and Jira within our Scrum delivery process.
- Apply TDD and unit testing to keep our applications reliable and maintainable.
- Use our AI-assisted development workflows effectively - to accelerate delivery while keeping ownership of code quality, security and correctness - and help refine how the team works with them.
- Take part in code reviews and contribute to our CI/CD processes and engineering best practice.
Sponsorship won't be able to be offered so you will need to have an independent right to work in the UK along with being able to commute to Hull at least a few times a month.
