We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join an award-winning Defence and Search & Rescue organization with offices just outside Lincoln. The technical team consists of 9 members, including Software Engineers, Software Testers, Product Owners, and Support staff. Our organization values sharing ideas and encourages innovation and creativity.
The Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the development process, from conception to deployment. The environment is relaxed yet professional, providing opportunities to design and develop code for complex Defence solutions.
Tech Stack:
- C++ or C#
- DevOps, GitHub
- Simulation Graphical Languages - OpenGL, WebGL, DirectX
- UI-based software development
- Software development lifecycle and methodologies
We do not expect the Software Engineer to be an expert in all technologies, just a strong foundational knowledge and a passion to learn more! The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a good communicator, and possess a natural desire to produce quality code. Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and teamwork are essential.
