Overview
A fast-growing UK property company is looking for a hands-on and experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to oversee general building upkeep and facilities operations across multiple commercial sites.
The successful Maintenance and Facilities Manager will be carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, cladding and general building works, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and within a small team, liaising with contractors and internal teams and operating plant equipment such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts as needed.
- Field-based role across sites in the UK, with a home base in Newport or within a 45-minute drive.
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, cladding and general building works.
Requirements
- Strong practical skills across electrical, plumbing, cladding and general building maintenance
- Experience operating access equipment with a valid IPAF licence (training can be provided)
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across UK sites
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with CDM regulations and maintaining detailed maintenance logs
Desirable qualifications
- SMSTS or equivalent site management certification
- NEBOSH or IOSH health & safety qualifications
- Own set of tools (although tools can be provided)

Details
This is a full-time, permanent role with rota-based weekday hours (08:00-17:30, Monday to Friday).
