Job Description

IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer – Defence Sector – Up to 45K + Bonus, 25 days holiday + BankWe are looking for a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join an award winning Defence organisation with offices just south of Lincoln. The technical team consists of 11 individuals and is comprised of primarily Software Engineers and you'll be directly reporting to the CTO.They seen expediential growth over the last few years and this hire will be the first dedicated IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer. A fantastic opportunity for someone to put their own take on a brand new role.

They are a big believer in sharing thoughts and encouraging and supporting innovation and creativity. The IT Support Engineer will also be given the chance to be involved in all aspects of the process, from conception through to completion and launch. The environment is relaxed yet professional and will provide the opportunity be technically involved in complex Defence solutions.IT Support Engineer Key skills:* IT and network troubleshooting* Logical fault finding* Networking* IT security awareness* Windows OS applications* IT project delivery* Azure / Entra / O365* Linux* Simulation experienceWe are not expecting the IT Support Engineer to be an expert in all the technologies above, just a strong basis knowledge and passion to learn more!You will be an enthusiastic IT Support, a good communicator and have a natural desire to create a seamless environment.

The successful IT Support Engineer should have strong problem solving abilities, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Due to the nature of the position it's required for the Software Engineer to be a UK National for government security vetting.
