We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing company at its modern headquarters in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an innovative business developing market-leading autonomous sensor systems and integrated servo drives for global markets.
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will assemble, test and inspect precision electro-mechanical products, working from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and Bills of Materials. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are built to the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams.
The successful Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will have proven experience in complex electro-mechanical assembly, electrical and mechanical testing, fault finding and rework. You will be confident working independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Required Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician Experience:
- Proven electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Soldering, cable harnessing and mechanical fitting skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring schematics and Bills of Materials.
- Experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Electrical and mechanical testing, fault finding and repair experience.
- Full right to work in the UK and ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be expected to maintain accurate production records, work to ISO quality standards, follow Health & Safety, COSHH and ESD procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
