We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced, mid or Senior level Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary, respected and well-established consultancy. This role is based in Peterborough and offers excellent opportunities to assist with developments across the UK and Europe.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of mechanical building services including HVAC, ventilation, fire suppression and air conditioning systems. You'll work closely with clients and design teams to ensure compliance from concept to completion. This position is ideally suited to a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, though ideally of an experienced or senior position currently. You'll bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to every task, while mentoring junior engineers.
Required Mechanical Design Engineer Experience:
- HNC, ONC or Degree level
- SBEM, AUTOCAD, REVIT or Hevacomp experience
- Sustainability Sector experience
- Chartered Mechanical Engineer or working towards
- MEP Building services related design experience
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
