ITS Wind Services Ltd is a specialist professional and technical services provider to the renewable energy sector, supporting OEMs and wind farm owners across the UK & Ireland with statutory inspections, maintenance, and compliance services.

Due to continued workload and long-term project demand, we are seeking an Experienced Statutory Inspectors to join our inspection team and take responsibility for delivering high-quality statutory inspections across wind turbine assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out statutory inspections of lifting equipment and safety systems
• Ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER, PSSR and relevant regulations
• Inspecting and certifying hoists, service lifts, fall arrest systems, and associated equipment
• Identifying defects, non-compliances, and issuing clear inspection reports
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation
• Working independently to high safety, quality, and professional standards
• Supporting and mentoring trainee or junior inspectors where required

Qualifications & Experience (Minimum Requirements)

• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
• Recognised Mechanical Fitter or Electrical qualification (essential)
• Proven experience carrying out statutory inspections or thorough examinations
• Strong working knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, PSSR and relevant safety standards
• Valid Health & Safety certification (CSCS or equivalent)
• High attention to detail and strong technical judgement
• Confident producing professional inspection reports
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland

Desirable (Not Essential)

• LEEA certification or equivalent inspection training
• GWO\’s (Working at height, energency rescue, manual handling & fire awareness)
• OEM experience within the wind industry
• Experience inspecting turbine hoists, service lifts, or fall arrest systems
• WTSR Competent or Authorised Technician (Enercon, GE, Nordex, Siemens or Vestas platforms)
• Mentoring or supervisory experience
