A large residential construction contractor based in Central London is looking for an additional Buyer to join their purchasing team. Daily Duties * The procurement of construction materials for high end residential developments * Working with site teams to ensure that their deadlines are met * Building on new and existing relationships with builders merchants and construction specific suppliers * Record management via a purchase order system Candidate Requirements * Relevant experience in working for a similar contractor in the residential market is preferred * Experience of working within alternative construction contractors could also be considered as advantageous * Proficiency in purchase order management system is essential * Competency in all standard MS packages * Negotiation and rapport building skills are required * To be able to work as a part of a high performing purchasing team
