We are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 main contractor who is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to deliver high-quality education projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, known for delivering sustainable, community-focused developments and investing in their people.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of education projects from site setup through to completion. You will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations on education construction projects
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and site teams to ensure efficient delivery
- Ensure health & safety standards are always maintained
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Monitor programme, quality, and productivity on site
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within a main contracting environment
- Strong background delivering education, public sector, or similar large-scale projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety regulations
- Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid preferred)
