Construction Logistics Manager required for a Regional Contractor. ITS Building People are looking for an experienced and hardworking labourer to assist our client with a project based in Lewes, East Sussex. Own transport required. This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Plan site logistics – organise site layout, storage areas, and delivery routes.
  • Manage deliveries – schedule materials and equipment arriving on site.
  • Control site traffic – manage vehicle access and movement around the site.
  • Coordinate with teams – work with project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Health & safety – ensure logistics activities follow site safety rules.
  • Access control – manage entry of workers and visitors to the site.
  • Monitor costs - Control logistics-related expenses.
  • Supervising lifting operations.

Requirements for the role:

  • A valid CSCS card.
  • SSSTS.
  • References upon request.
  • You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

  • There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management.
