Job description: Scaffolder required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in residential projects. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Scaffolder to assist our client with a project based in Horsham, West Sussex. Own transport is preferred. There may be an option to work overtime on the weekends at a higher rate.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Erect and dismantle temporary metal scaffolding on structures and building sites
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
- Reading and working from scaffolding drawings and plans
- Inspecting completed work for safety & compliance
- Working efficiently as part of a site team
- Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site
- Laying planks for workers
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting
Requirements for the role:
- Must have 2 Scaffolders CISRS card
- Own Tools
- Ability to work at height
- The ability to perform physical manual labour
- You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
- Own tools not required
Training/Progression opportunities: There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management.
