Ceiling Fixer required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in residential projects. ITS Building People are looking for an experienced and hardworking ceiling fixer to assist our client with a project based in Brighton, West Sussex. Own transport would be beneficial but public transport is available near this project. This contract will be on-going, Monday-Friday and there may be an option to work overtime on the weekends at a higher rate.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Strip of existing plasterboard / MF Ceiling and Walls
  • Bracing Walls and Ceilings with either metal plates or timber noggins
  • Liaising with site manager

Requirements for the role:

  • A valid CSCS card - NVQ preferable
  • Must be able to read off drawings
  • The ability to perform physical manual labour
  • You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
  • Own tools are required

Training/Progression opportunities:

  • There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management.
