Ceiling Fixer required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in residential projects. ITS Building People are looking for an experienced and hardworking Ceiling Fixer to assist our client with a project based in Brighton, East Sussex. Own transport is preferred. This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.
Additional training and a full-time contract may be provided for the right candidates.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Strip of existing plasterboard / MF Ceiling and Walls
- Bracing Walls and Ceilings with either metal plates or timber noggins
- Fixers must be able to follow drawings
- Liaising with site manager
Requirements for the role:
- A valid CSCS card - NVQ preferable
- Must be able to read off drawings
- The ability to perform physical manual labour
- You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
- Own tools are required
- No parking on site (nearest parking 2 min walk £11 per day)
Training/Progression opportunities:
- There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
