Overview
Job title: 360 excavator operator/groundworker. Location: Sudbury Hill, London. Type: Temporary contract (ongoing, Monday to Friday with potential overtime). Start date: Immediate. Employer: ITS Building People.
The role is with a large residential developer. Own transport to the site would be available to the site.
Responsibilities
- Assisting trades on site
- Moving materials around the site
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting the site management team
- Carry out Groundworker tasks
- Excavate, clear
- Digging holes & trenches
- Load & unload materials
Qualifications & Requirements
- A valid CPCS/NPORS card
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to perform physical manual labour
- Own high visibility jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat (these can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee)
- Own tools not required
Training & Progression
There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management.
Remuneration
Rate of Pay: 21 – 22.50 per hour. Note: Where a range is quoted, the minimum required qualifications and experience align with the lowest rate quoted.
