This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves helping people become confident with everyday technology - not through long, formal L&D programmes, but through practical training, simple guides, and friendly 'ask me anything' support.

This isn’t a classroom-only role. You’ll be visible, approachable, and hands-on, the person colleagues naturally go to when they’re stuck, curious, or want to learn something new.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering onboarding sessions for new starters twice a month - guiding them through the essentials like Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, AVD/Citrix access, and modern collaboration tools.
  • Running drop-in clinics and 'ask me anything' sessions across multiple offices.
  • Helping people with everyday tasks: better Excel habits, Teams device switching, mail merge basics, resizing phone screens, using Copilot, or sharing documents the right way.
  • Creating bite-sized content - short guides, FAQs, quick videos, tips - that explain things in a simple, friendly way.

What Makes This Role Interesting

  • You don’t need to be highly technical - they appreciate clear, calm guidance.
  • You’ll shape learning culture from the ground up. This is not a rigid L&D department; you can be creative and experiment.
  • Real autonomy. If you want to build micro-lessons, create a product catalogue for common requests, automate a workflow, or launch a mini learning series, you’ll be encouraged, not blocked.
  • Variety every day. One moment you’re helping someone use Teams correctly, the next you’re putting together a 5-second Excel tip video.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in IT, with experience or an interest in Training.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive.
  • Someone who can stand up in front of a room and explain things clearly.
  • Ability to create simple, structured documentation and learning content.
  • Not Essential: Formal L&D Background - what matters is your comms style, and desire to help.
