Position good to knows
Working in a team across an organisation's sites where you will be supporting a repairs and maintenance planned works team fitting and re-installing kitchens and bathrooms in social housing properties. This is a hands-on manual role, so previous labouring experience is essential. If you also have basic carpentry/plumbing skills this would be useful but not essential. You will require a driving licence as the position will need you to move from site to site with the teams, happy driving a supplied company van for work.
Your key duties
- Hands on minor maintenance duties assisting trades fitting kitchens and bathrooms
- Moving materials
- Clearing waste
- Driving a van and loading and unloading van stock and materials used for the kitchen and bathroom refits
What's needed from you
- Full UK Driving licence
- Physically fit and able to lift and move materials
- Good timekeeping
- An outgoing customer service approach
- Good communication skills
- Adaptability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Able to take direction and also work on your own initiative
Hours and pay
40 Hours per week
Hourly paid (PAYE + holiday pay or rolled up holiday pay)
