We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in North London. This is a long-term temporary position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, planned works, and general maintenance within occupied and void properties.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Plasterer with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing minor patch work through to full board and skim, renewals and installations in occupied properties
  • Undertaking multi-trade works including:
    • Minor plumbing repairs through to like-for-like works
    • Tiling (splashbacks)
    • Painting & decorating
    • General domestic repairs
  • Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible
  • Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs
  • Logging works accurately on a PDA and completing daily job sheets
  • Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality
  • Providing a professional, respectful service to tenants
  • Reporting any additional or follow-on works required
  • Maintaining van stock, equipment and materials
  • Working independently or as part of a team when required

Essential Criteria

  • Experience working in occupied residential settings
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (max 4 points)
  • Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous social housing repairs experience
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or time-served equivalent
  • Experience using a PDA
  • Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments
  • Knowledge of SOR codes

What You Will Receive

  • Hourly rate of £22 per hour
  • 12-week temporary assignment with the potential for a permanent role to either PAYE direct or working as a sub-contractor on CIS
  • Company van and fuel card provided
