We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a busy Team working across social housing properties. This role involves carrying out a variety of trades to ensure properties are brought back up to a lettable standard within set timeframes. You will be working within an established maintenance contractor delivering high-quality works across an extensive housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Multi Trader who is confident working independently and completing full property refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out multi-trade works
- Completing full void refurbishments to lettable standards
- Carpentry (doors, locks, kitchens, skirting, architraves)
- Basic plumbing (taps, toilets, sinks, pipework)
- Patch plastering and making good
- Painting & decorating where required
- Ensuring all works are completed within target turnaround times
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and cleanliness
- Accurately updating job progress via PDA or job sheets
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader within social housing / voids / property maintenance
- Strong core trade (Carpentry or Plumbing preferred)
- Ability to complete multiple trades to a good standard
- Experience working on void properties (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools required
