We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Fitter to carry out fire door installations across occupied and unoccupied domestic properties throughout Southwark and Croydon .
The role
- Installing fire doors and complete fire door sets
- Completing upgrades and remedial works
- Fitting frames, hinges, locks, closers, handles, seals and ironmongery
- Ensuring all installations meet current fire safety regulations
- Working neatly and respectfully within domestic properties
- Completing work to a consistently high standard
Requirements
- Proven experience fitting fire doors within domestic properties
- Recent experience on social housing, MOD accommodation or similar contracts is desirable
- Own van and full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of fire door compliance and installation standards
- Relevant carpentry or fire-door qualification preferred
- References covering previous fire-door work
