We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to join a busy Voids Team working within the Social Housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment works on behalf of local authorities and housing associations. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and multi-trade works within empty social housing properties, ensuring homes are brought back up to lettable standard efficiently and to a high quality.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of plumbing repairs within void properties
- Bathroom and kitchen replacements/repairs
- Pipework, radiators, taps, sinks, toilets and drainage works
- Basic multi-trade duties including:
- Carpentry repairs
- Patch plastering
- Tiling
- Painting & making good
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (preferred)
- Proven experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance
- Experience within void properties highly desirable
- Multi-trade experience advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
