Overview

  • ITS Property Maintenance are working with a reputable and growing contractor delivering high-quality planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes within the social housing sector.
  • Due to continued contract growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Wet Trade Multi Trader to join the team, carrying out planned works across occupied and void properties throughout Milton Keynes.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established social housing contract with a consistent pipeline of projects through to March 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out a wide range of wet trade repairs and refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties.
  • Completing plastering, patch plastering, skimming and rendering to a high standard.
  • Undertaking wall and floor tiling, including bathroom and kitchen splashback installations.
  • Carrying out associated multi-trade works including basic carpentry, decorating and making good.
  • Completing minor plumbing repairs such as replacing sanitary ware, taps and wastes where required.
  • Working safely and professionally within residents' homes, maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
  • Recording completed works, labour and materials using PDA or electronic job management systems.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety legislation and client quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Wet Trade Multi Trader within domestic or social housing environments.
  • Strong plastering and tiling skills with the ability to produce high-quality finishes.
  • Experience carrying out associated multi-trade works including decorating, basic carpentry and minor plumbing.
  • Previous experience working on planned maintenance or refurbishment contracts within the social housing sector.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own van.
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plastering, Tiling or a relevant trade qualification, or be time served.
  • Comfortable using PDA systems to receive and complete work instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience working in occupied properties.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of planned maintenance contracts and SOR codes would be advantageous.
