ITS Group is a leading construction recruitment company with 50 years experience in the industry. We are now looking for someone with a strong aptitude for sales to join our business in Plymouth. Experience in the recruitment industry is beneficial but essentially we are looking for an individual with drive, determination and ambition. ITS Plymouth has built a strong relationship with Construction Clients in the South West for over 20 years and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and continue the strong foothold we have in this region.

We feel that ITS is the perfect place for you to do well - you will not be constrained by 'corporate' barriers - ITS offers a friendly environment to work in with a down to earth, uncomplicated approach to how we go about our business.

The Role: Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing existing client relationships
  • Generating new business through outbound sales calls, networking and referrals
  • Taking detailed job briefs and matching suitable candidates to live vacancies
  • Advertising vacancies across multiple job boards and social media platforms
  • Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Managing candidate availability and bookings for temporary assignments
  • Carrying out full candidate registrations, including compliance, references and qualification checks
  • Negotiating pay rates and fees with clients and candidates
  • Using the internal database to maintain accurate records and activity logs
  • Always providing a high level of service to clients and candidates

The ideal candidate:

  • Confident, motivated and target-driven
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn internal systems
  • Previous recruitment, sales or construction industry experience is desirable
  • Full valid driving licence required for client visits & field sales
