We are currently seeking reliable and professional Gatemen to work across multiple construction sites in Worcester. The successful candidates will be responsible for controlling site access, managing vehicle movements, maintaining site security, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Controlling access and exit of all vehicles, workers, and visitors on site
- Directing traffic safely in and out of construction areas
- Signing visitors and contractors in and out of site
- Maintaining site security and preventing unauthorised access
- Communicating effectively with site managers, drivers, and operatives
- Monitoring deliveries and coordinating vehicle movements
- Ensuring all health & safety regulations are adhered to
- Keeping the gate area clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Assisting with general site duties when required
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification preferred
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work across multiple locations in Worcester
- Full UK driving licence preferred
