Trainee Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Buyer to join a dynamic team in a leading construction company. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry. No prior experience is required, and full training and support will be provided to help you grow in your role. Key Responsibilities: * Assist senior Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, or Buyers in the day-to-day running of construction projects. * Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies. * Help with tracking project costs and managing financial records. * Assist with tendering and procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractors. * Aid in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts. * Monitor project progress and report on budget and expenditure. * Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Participate in site visits and project meetings, assisting with cost reporting and evaluations. Essential Requirements: * Strong interest in starting a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Purchasing. * Basic understanding of the construction industry (an advantage but not essential). * A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). * A positive, proactive attitude and a team player.
