We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated maintenance team on a prestigious holiday home estate. This is a varied and hands-on role offering stable, full-time hours and the chance to work in a stunning setting surrounded by nature. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various trades including basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

Contract Type: Full time 5 /7 days to include weekends on a rota basis, with rota-based weekend working.

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the estate
  • Reporting back to managers and coordinators with updates on ongoing jobs/projects
  • Liaison with customers as required
  • Performing general property repairs
  • Ensuring the highest standard of presentation and safety across all properties
  • Monitor and report defects, hazards, or breakdowns to supervisors or relevant departments
  • Maintain clean and organised work areas, including storage of materials and tools

Monthly Health Checks:

  • Ensure the fire alarm is fully operational and tested in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Check functionality and battery status of carbon dioxide alarms
  • Confirm emergency torches are present, accessible, and in working condition
  • Inspect all escape routes
