We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated maintenance team on a prestigious holiday home estate. This is a varied and hands-on role offering stable, full-time hours and the chance to work in a stunning setting surrounded by nature. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various trades including basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.

Contract Type: Full time 5 /7 days to include weekends on a rota basis, with rota-based weekend working.

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the estate
  • Reporting back to managers and coordinators with updates on ongoing jobs/projects
  • Liaison with customers as required
  • Performing general property repairs
  • Ensuring the highest standard of presentation and safety across all properties
  • Monitor and report defects, hazards, or breakdowns to supervisors or relevant departments
  • Maintain clean and organised work areas, including storage of materials and tools

Monthly Health & Safety Checks:

  • Fire Alarm System – Ensure the fire alarm is fully operational and tested in accordance with safety guidelines
  • CO2 Alarms – Check functionality and battery status of carbon dioxide alarms
  • Emergency Torches – Confirm emergency torches are present, accessible, and in working condition
  • Escape Routes – Inspect all escape routes to ensure they are clear of obstructions and easily accessible
  • Safety Signage – Verify that all emergency and safety signage is correctly placed, visible, and in good condition
