It\’s Fresh is a UK-based Agri-Food Tech company headquartered in Staffordshire. Our technology for the fresh produce post-harvest and retail sectors manages ethylene, helping to extend the shelf life and condition of fresh produce. The technology – known as RYPEN – does not interfere with the produce items\’ natural pathways, allow produce packed with RYPEN to develop naturally at a slower rate, resulting in better taste and reduced waste. With customizable and integrable products, we support growers, retailers, and ultimately consumers by enhancing returns and eating outcomes while minimizing waste along the supply chain.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Post-Harvest Technical Services Assistant, working across both our office in Burntwood UK and fresh produce arrival facilities (in the UK and Rotterdam). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, assessing fruit packed with our RYPEN Technology, analyzing data, and offering solutions to technical issues related to fresh produce.

Qualifications / experience required

  • Minimum Bachelor\’s degree in agriculture, or related field
  • Post-harvest experience will be highly regarded, as will any background in Agri-Food tech
  • Excellent attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to work sensitively across multiple languages and cultures
  • Project management skills, and ability to self-manage and organise across a wide range on ongoing fruit arrivals
  • UK driver\’s licence necessary

Must be able to on-site in Burntwood, and travel to various facilities to assess fruit.
