The role & about the client: On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Working Carpentry Foreman to join a reputable fast pace construction company based in Dorset for a duration of 6-7 weeks. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing construction project Leading a team of carpenters to ensure high quality project delivery Working on site, combining supervision with hands on work To help with direct deliveries, clean and maintain the site, close and open the site Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards. Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth project operations Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed on site. Supervise and coordinate daily activities on site Allocate tasks and ensure efficient use of labor and materials. Monitor work and ensure it meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have/be: Proven experience as a Working Foreman within construction industry. Proven carpentry background Experience with fit out projects Experience and able to manage a gang of people Strong knowledge of construction process, safety procedures and relevant regulations. To be hands on and working on site Ability to read and interpret blue prints, plans and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills Hands of experience with construction tools and equipment Ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks.
