We are currently supporting a well-established, quality-focused residential construction contractor operating across the South East, delivering bespoke new homes, high-value refurbishments, extensions, and technically complex residential projects. Due to a strong forward order book and continued growth, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their delivery team on a confidential basis.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are met. You will act as the key point of coordination between clients, consultants, site teams, and subcontractors, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential construction projects from inception to handover
- Develop and maintain project programmes, cost forecasts, and risk registers
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants
- Maintain commercial control, including variations and reporting
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and building regulations
- Drive quality, professionalism, and attention to detail on every project
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential construction
- Experience delivering bespoke homes, high-end refurbishments, or complex residential schemes preferred
- Strong commercial and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a client-facing approach
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
