ITS Building People are looking to recruit an Apprentice Recruitment Resourcer to join our White Collar Construction Professionals team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career within recruitment and the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience and industry-recognised qualifications through an apprenticeship programme. You will join an established and growing construction recruitment business with over 50 years’ experience within the industry, working alongside experienced consultants who will provide ongoing support, training and development. Our White Collar division specialises in supplying professional staff into the construction sector across the South of England, including Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Design Managers and Commercial staff.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting consultants with candidate sourcing and recruitment delivery
- Speaking with candidates daily via phone, email and LinkedIn
- Advertising vacancies across job boards and social media
- Conducting candidate registrations and qualification calls
- Managing candidate availability and interview coordination
- Building and maintaining candidate databases and CRM records
- Learning recruitment processes, compliance and client management
- Supporting the wider team with administration and office tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A motivated and positive attitude
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence speaking with people over the phone
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Basic IT and Microsoft Office skills
- An interest in recruitment, sales or the construction industry
- Previous office, retail or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential
