Job Title: Project Manager – Residential / Retirement / Care Homes

Location: Southampton Area

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Package

A well-established developer and contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a new-build residential development in the Southampton area. The scheme includes high-specification elements, built using traditional methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the build from pre-construction to completion
• Coordinate with design and technical consultants
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme delivery
• Ensure all work meets required specifications, quality, and compliance standards
• Maintain strong health & safety standards
• Liaise with stakeholders and provide regular progress reports

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering traditional build residential projects
• Background in care homes or retirement living is essential
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good understanding of technical drawings and construction methodology
• Track record of delivering schemes to a high standard
