The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable contractor who specialises in the delivery of refurbishment projects. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating trades, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations on site
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Monitor progress against programme and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain quality control and ensure works are completed to specification
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays on site
- Report regularly to senior management and liaise with clients and consultants
- Drive productivity and maintain high standards across the site
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurb projects
- Strong background in construction
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
